By now everyone should know that February is deemed Black History Month in the United States. It is a time where we celebrate the many achievements of people of African descent in the U.S. from February 1st – February 28th.
Instead of composing a list of African American inventors (something that I used to have to do in grade school when I was growing up) I decided to put together a local list of ways you and your family can support a black owned business, gain new insight on local African American achievements or just simply celebrate your African American neighbor, coworker or friend.
