My Review of the 2019 Ford Expedition Platinum

As a Ford VIP Blogger, my partnership with Ford allows me to test drive their inventory of vehicles. My family was planning a weekend trip to Orlando so I figured it would be the best time to check out their 2019 Ford Expedition. I was pleasantly surprised when I went to pick up the vehicle for the weekend and I was greeted with their beautiful Platinum edition! What a glamorous vehicle the Platinum edition is and I can’t wait to tell you about all of the upgraded features this SUV offers that differs from the standard Expedition.

2019 Ford Expedition Platinum

The Expedition was the perfect fit for my family of five (2 adults and 3 children) during our weekend trip to Orlando. We rode comfortably in the seats and the spacing of the three rows worked well for us. My husband I rode in the front, my two younger kids rode in the second row with their car seats and my oldest son enjoyed the third row all to himself. I will say for such a large vehicle I was a bit surprised at how small the trunk space is. I do know that you can upgrade to a XL which has an extended back if you are in the market for an Expedition with bigger trunk space.

There are a lot of bells and whistles that this SUV is packed with, so be prepared to have your socks knocked off!

Haven’t really mastered parallel parking? No worries, this SUV has a feature that will do that for you. Always tired and tensed from your long days at work? No worries, this SUV has massaging chairs that will soothe all of your back pains away! Constantly yelling at your kids to buckle up? No worries, this SUV has sensors that will notify you when your passengers aren’t utilizing their seat belts. Wished you had a full body fan that can cool your body down fast from this Florida heat? No worries, this SUV has air conditioned seats that feel oh so sweet to help cool you down super fast!

If you’re not ready to run out and purchase this vehicle yet from the aforementioned amenities then perhaps these next features I’m going to disclose will help push you over the edge. The next few features described below are the ones my husband and I enjoyed the most.

Sometimes it’s the simple things in life that get you every time. We really enjoyed that the SUV drove very smoothly, it felt like we were driving on a cloud the entire weekend. We also really liked that the SUV has a moon roof so that the extra sunlight can come into the vehicle from a larger perspective than your traditional sun roof. Our top two favorite features hands down were the 360 birds eye view of the vehicle (being able to see your vehicle from all angles was clutch) and the adaptive cruise control. We found that the adaptive cruise control worked exceptionally well on road trips when you are to needing to adjust your speed to the different speed changes and drivers around you. With this setting you don’t have to adjust manually, the car makes all of the adjustments for you automatically.

So if you are in the market to test drive this beauty of a vehicle, please don’t hesitate to reach out to my friends at Parks Ford of Wesley Chapel.
